RESEARCH ACTIVITIES:
Currently, my research activities are focused on: 1) defining the role of gastrointestinal (GI) peptide hormones and their receptors in regulating the interactions between epithelial and stromal cells during GI carcinogenesis, 2) identify tumor stromal cell marker that predict the recurrence of colorectal cancer, and 3) defining the regulation and function of CCK2 receptors in bone marrow cell differentiation and activation to inflammatory stimuli.
