Dr. Bernstam’s primary appointment is in the UT- Houston School of Health Information Sciences with a secondary appointment in Internal Medicine. He currently is director of the bioinformatics component of the UTHSC-MDACC CTSA and is a collaborating investigator with the Joint UTMB-UTHSC Center in Personalized Health Informatics. His current research focuses on: MEDLINE searching (Medline Query-By-Example) consumer health informatics shareable executable clinical practice guidelines informatics in clinical and translational research
